With an enrollment of roughly fifty scouts, ranging in age from 11 to 17, Troop 228 is the oldest active troop in Somers. We meet Monday evenings at 7:30 pm at the Amawalk Firehouse off route 35 and Mahopac Ave. Items of interest include; the calendar which has this years slate of events, a news page where we will post current events, the about page which will hold key facts about the troop and the favorite of many, the photo page where you can enjoy pictures of the scouts at their events. Our ultimate goal is that years hence every young man looks back on his years in scouts with a fond appreciation for the things he learned and the friendships he made.
