Saturday, April 23rd 2011 is our 2nd Annual Midnight Run.
This event is organized in conjunction with the First presbyterian Church in Katonah, NY under the direction of Mr. bart Tyler. Mr. Tyler has been running the Midnight Runs to feed the homeless for over 25 years.
Each Midnight Run distributes about 150 brown bag meals, each bags contains a hefty sanwhich of ham, cheese, turkey, or tuna (for vegitarian meals, just cheese is fin), a bottle of water, a ...

Thank you to all the parents and Scouts who contributed to our U.S. Military Troop care packages for our soldiers in Afghanistan. We hope to continue sending packages as long as our soldiers are at war. Whenever goods for packages are being collected, the announcement will be in a weekly email from the Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) - which for Spring 2011, is Austin Muir.

An important role a Scout serves is contributing to the community. Somers Troop 228 Scouts have recently completed service projects and we commended them for their work.

Cleaning up the historic graveyard on Route 118 by Kogel Park.
Trail maintenance at Reis Park, Saturday, April 2nd, 2011.
